Williams Contracting Inc is a custom home and remodeling firm delivering design-driven residential projects through strong systems, collaborative teamwork, and elevated craftsmanship. The company operates with a structured Superintendent-led model, emphasizing finish quality, schedule control, and exceptional client experiences.


The Onsite Project Manager is a field-based execution leader responsible for finish-phase management on new construction projects and full-scope management on remodels. Operating under the Construction Superintendent, this role manages subcontractors, product ordering, scheduling, quality control, and punchlist completion. The Field PM ensures every home is delivered to company standards and client expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • New Construction - Finish Phase
  • Take project ownership at the post-drywall stage
  • Manage trim, paint, cabinets, tile, flooring, countertops, hardware, and appliances
  • Confirm trade readiness before mobilization
  • Ensure installations match plans and selections
  • Remodels - Full Project Execution
  • Manage the project from site setup and demo through final finishes
  • Coordinate framing adjustments and MEP modifications
  • Oversee finish installation and sequencing
  • Materials & Ordering
  • Order finish-phase products (new builds)
  • Order all project materials (remodels)
  • Verify quantities, measurements, lead times, and accessories
  • Track deliveries and communicate schedule risks
  • Maintain onsite material protection and staging
  • Subcontractor Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate trades
  • Provide updated documentation and site expectations
  • Walk the jobsite daily for quality control
  • Escalate issues promptly
  • Quality & Jobsite Standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe jobsite
  • Inspect the finish quality daily
  • Document deficiencies and coordinate corrections
  • Manage an organized punchlist through completion
  • Communication
  • Provide daily/weekly updates to the Superintendent
  • Coordinate with the Account Executive for client communication
  • Collaborate with the Design Team for clarifications and RFIs
  • Confirm vendor deliveries and trade expectations

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of residential construction experience
  • 2 or more years of experience in project management
  • Strong finish-phase sequencing knowledge
  • Ability to read plans, elevations, and finish diagrams
  • Proven subcontractor management experience
  • Strong leadership presence with professionalism
  • High standards of craftsmanship and cleanliness
  • Valid driver's license
  • Personal vehicle/truck required (mileage reimbursement provided per company policy)
  • Basic hand tools required; specialty tools provided by the company
  • Ability to work full-time onsite

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 Employment
  • Pay: $30 to $35 per hour, based on experience
  • Performance-based bonuses are paid quarterly based on schedule adherence, budget control, and quality benchmarks.
  • Health insurance with 75% of the premium paid by the company
  • IRA with 3% company match after 1 year
  • 2 weeks PTO after 1 year
  • Sick time accrued at 1 hour per 40 hours worked
